STRATEGY FOR ANSWER LISTENING
SECTION TOEFL
The first part of the
TOEFL test is Listening Comperhension where participants will be in listen to
some short dialogue , the dialogue is long and lengthy speech followed by a
question answer choices in the matter of the paper .
For most people the
Listening section is the most difficult in the TOEFL test . Because people talk
in conversation is very different from native
speakers with delivery by Indonesian people that we often hear in the schools
or courses . They talk fast and sometimes participants do not understand what
in talking about .
Although it is
difficult not to be given up because the actual TOEFL test in addition to
requiring English language skills are also related to the strategies that are
used when answering these questions :
Here are some strategic
to answer the toefl listening test you can try :
General
strategy
1 . You must understand
the forms of the command ( Direction on each piece (part ) well before the big
day )
2 . You must Read
-choice answers each question when the narrator was reading direction and
example problems ( Direction already read before the day )
3 . You must listen to full concentration and
focus your attention on listening to the conversation that is being anada
4 . You Must maximize
the ability listeing the first questions of each part

PART A : Short
Conversation
5 . Focus on the
speaker to hear the second
6 . Do not panic if
they do not understand the word -for-word in a conversation kompliy , just need
to take the ideas and content of the conversation
7 . If you can not
understand what the speaker is saying both , choose the best answer is
different from what you hear
8 . Understand the
functional forms of expression (agreement , suggestion , suprice , etc. ) ,
idiomatic expressions and situations when the conversation is done
PART B : Longer
Conversation
9 . When the narrator
discuss the direction part B should read the answer choices at a glance and
then record it and predict what the theme will be discussed
10 . When listening to
the conversation , you must know the theme / topic being discussed
11 . Beware on each
question
12 . Pay attention to
the conditions and situations that occur during a conversation regarding the
place and time pembicaraaan , what and who discussed
PART C : TALK
13 . If you have time ,
take a look at the answer choices listed in a booklet and find the key word

test participants .

that were raised by the speaker must be able to be well captured by the
listener in order to understand the purpose of the conversation .

and Multipart Verbs
Without knowing
idiomatic Expression and Multipart Verbs , it is difficult for test takers to
answer the listening test related to both of these .
